DESCRIPTION:The USPA General S. Brown Cup honors General George Scratchley Brown (1918-1978)\, a highly decorated military leader whose passion for polo began long before he became Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. During his time at the United States Military Academy\, Brown served as the captain of the West Point polo team\, leading them to a runner-up finish in the Eastern Intercollegiate Championship. His lifelong commitment to the sport and his distinguished military career inspired the United States Polo Association to establish this 4-to-8-goal handicapped tournament in his memory. Today\, the event celebrates his dual legacy of competitive horsemanship and exceptional national service by gathering top regional teams to compete for the prestigious circuit title. \n
